Applied in lead plant for smelting furnace off-gas control

Overview:

The off gas treatment equipment mainly includes water spraying cooling tower, surface cooler, bag-type dust collector, absorption/desulfurizing tower, dust collection fan and gas pipelines.

The high-temperature smoke will enter water spraying tower through pipeline, through which the temperature of smoke will be lower to 500. Then the smoke from cooling tower enters 360m2 surface cooler with its temperature lower to ≤200. And then the smoke goes into bag-type dust collector. If the environmental requirement standard is high, we can use absorption tower or pneumatic emulsion tower to press the smoke for desulfurization by induced draft fan. At last, the smoke filtered will be discharged from chimney by dust collection fan.

2. Surface cooler specification

Surface cooler consist of stand column, box, ash bucket, heat dissipation pipeline, air inlet, air outlet, and so on. The high-temperature smoke enters the cooler box through the air inlet. The box also functions as a gravity settling chamber. The big particle dust will fall down into ash bucket due to gravity and be collected and discharged by a unloader. The high-temperature smoke will have heat exchange with air in the heat dissipation pipeline and then be discharged from the air outlet.

3. Water spraying cooling tower specification

Water spraying cooling tower consists of stand column, shell, ash bucket, cold water pipeline, air inlet, air outlet, and so on. High-temperature smoke will enter the cooler shell. The shell also functions as a gravity settling chamber. The big particle dust will fall down into ash bucket due to gravity and be collected and discharged by a unloader. The high-temperature smoke will have heat exchange with the cold water pipeline in the shell. The circulation water in the pipeline will bring away part of heat. And then the smoke will be discharged from the air outlet of the water cooling tower.

4. Pneumatic emulsion tower specification

Pneumatic emulsion tower consists of three parts, flue gas containing sulfur will first go into the gas uniformization chamber, and then into the filter element group of pneumatic emulsion, and finally through the gas-liquid separation chamber. The purified flue gas will come out of the tower and be discharged into the atmosphere. The filter element group of pneumatic emulsion is the core of the filter, which provides a pneumatic lime emulsion layer for strong mass transfer  of turbulent mixing and is the main component of the flue gas purification. The structure of the pneumatic emulsion filter element, airflow velocity and liquid distribution amount have a direct impact on the efficiency of flue gas purification. The gas-liquid separation chamber is used for separating gas from liquid, which adopts the principle of coagulation and inertia and has simple structure as well as can further remove dust.
